The clouds came to me today and said
I have a very personal package to deliver
I said I am in no position to move the heavens
and a letter fell from the sky, a friendly sky with clouds
shaped like open hands.
the letter said, why did you move to chicago?
then the clouds movie fogged into pictures of my birth.
My mother screamed. My head covered in blood and light, the doctor
was a picture of a ship. My father a ten dollar bill.
The road to where I am a graduation photo.
And the nagging yellow of my courage
